Want to earn a higher degree or professional certificate but unable to take educational courses in full time? [adsnese]Arizona State University online education will do you a favor!

With century-plus years experience in top-rated teaching, Arizona State University now provides you with an opportunity to pursue an advanced degree and update your knowledge without attending on-campus classes. With the state-of-art technology and national-renowned instructors, ASU online programs will help you gain a higher degree in a flexible and effective schedule.

Currently, Arizona State University offers more than 50 online programs, including bachelors and masters degrees, as well as graduate certificates. For a complete list of online programs available at ASU, you can go to ASU official website and choose “Online” on the right tab.

After you scan the program list, is there any online program of your interest? Then I guess besides the quality of online courses, another issue that you care most about is the COST.

Well, I could not simply tell you that the tuition for ASU online education is expensive or inexpensive, as different programs require different numbers of credits which determine your tuition and other fees.

However, I can promise you that no matter you learn completely online or take classes on campuses in Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, or Maine, you are charged with an in-state tuition rate for each credit hour. There is no difference in tuition between you and campus-based students.

Listed below are the tuition rates in 2012 for online undergraduate and graduate students. Take a look for a brief overview.

Undergraduate Tuition Rates:

• 2012 Spring Semester – $425 per credit hour

• 2012 Summer Semester – $425 per credit hour

• 2012 Fall Semester – $442 per credit hour

Graduate Tuition Rates:

• 2012 Spring Semester – $445 per credit hour

• 2012 Summer Semester – $445 per credit hour

• 2012 Fall Semester – $463 per credit hour

As an online student, you typically need to register for 2 or 3 classes per 7.5 week session, while most courses are worth 3 credits, while in general, you need to spend 6 credit hours per week for each credit. Then you will find the tuition rate could cost you a large sum of money!

For instance, you are planning to earn an online bachelors degree in 2012 Fall semester. During the 7.5 week session, you sign up for 3 courses and each course is 3 credits. Then generally in this session, you have to spend 54 credit hours for the completion and your tuition will be $23,868.

Your tuition is 100% refundable by one week after the start of the 7.5 week session. After that, the money you submit will be nonrefundable. Moreover, if you enroll into an online graduate program, additional fees may be associated. For this, you can visit the specific page of the college you are going to enroll into.

To make sure that your registration is valid and avoid registration cancellation, you must make tuition payments by the deadlines put by Arizona State of University, otherwise, your registration will be cancelled. (Or you can enroll into the Tuition Installment Plan. An article will be created for this later).
